Curators

Curators play a central role in maintaining the quality and consistency of records within a community.

In review-based communities, users submit records for review. These submissions appear in the Requests tab of the curator interface. Curators can:

• Preview submitted records
• Communicate with submitters
• Edit and refine metadata
• Accept or decline submissions

Once a record is accepted, it becomes part of the community and is published. Both the submitter and the community are listed as owners of the record.

Curators also have editing access during the review process, allowing them to collaborate with submitters before publication.
